Twinkl began as an EdTech start-up in 2010, founded by husband and wife team, Jon and Susie, who began making resources for teachers from their home.

Today, we are a truly global educational publisher with over 1000 team members worldwide, working together to produce high-quality learning materials and much more!

While Twinkl might look quite different now, our core mission has always remained the same - 'To help those who teach.'

We now support educators in over 200 countries and regions, including the UK, USA and Australia. Our resources are tailored to each national curriculum and we translate hundreds of materials every month. We want our members to feel connected and supported, ready to create those lightbulb moments wherever they teach, with Twinkl by their side.

We're proud of our roots here at Twinkl. Born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, a city known for its innovation, industry and culture, it's shaped who we are.

Its vibrant, inclusive spirit and stunning natural surroundings, with the Peak District right on the doorstep, inspire our love of nature and our commitment to sustainable living. Known as the Steel City, Sheffield's legacy of innovation and quality drives us to channel the same approach in our work, using our expertise to support local businesses and give something back.
