Job Introduction
Primary Cover Supervisor – Bradford (BD7)
A lovely opportunity has come up for someone with a passion for education to work as a Cover Supervisor in a welcoming primary school in the BD7 area of Bradford. This is a full-time role starting from September 2025, perfect for a graduate or someone with classroom experience who enjoys working with children and is looking to take the next step in their education career.
The school has recently been graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted and is well-regarded for its warm community feel and supportive leadership. The Headteacher is particularly keen to find someone with prior experience working in Key Stage 2 (KS2), either as a Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, or in another classroom-based role.
The Role:
You’ll be stepping into lessons when the teacher is absent, delivering pre-set work to KS2 classes and keeping pupils on track. This is a great way to build confidence in classroom management while being fully supported by the school team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes across Years 3 to 6
- Managing behaviour and keeping lessons running smoothly
- Supporting pupils with their learning where needed
- Feeding back to teachers about the day’s lessons and pupil engagement

Details:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Location: Bradford (BD7), with good transport links and parking available
