Location: Birmingham

Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: £150 – £200

Elevate Supply is working with secondary schools in Birmingham to appoint a confident and enthusiastic English Teacher. This is a great opportunity to inspire a love for English language and literature across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging English lessons tailored to a range of student abilities

  • Prepare students for GCSEs and other assessments

  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Create a supportive classroom culture that promotes learning

  • Contribute to curriculum development and department planning

  • Engage with extracurricular opportunities to enhance learning

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Degree in English or a related subject

  • Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management

  • Positive attitude and commitment to student success

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
