Primary PE TA / Sports Coach

Job Introduction

• Location: Oldham
• Start Date: ASAP
• Daily Rate: £90 – £100 per day 

Elevate Supply is working with a welcoming primary school in Oldham to recruit a primary PE Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for graduates in Sports Science, PE, or a related field who are looking to gain experience in a school setting and support the physical development of children.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in education, teaching, or child development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of PE and physical activities
• Help lead structured play, movement sessions, and group games
• Encourage pupil participation, coordination, and motor skills development
• Work alongside class teachers to promote active learning
• Assist with classroom activities and general support when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in PE, Sports Science, or a related subject
• A confident, positive, and proactive approach to working with children
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage younger pupils
• Some experience working with children is a bonus, but not essential
• Willingness to learn and support across various activities in school
