English Teacher – Sheffield | Elevate Supply
Elevate Supply is looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join one of our fantastic partner schools in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in English Language and Literature, fostering a love for learning in a supportive and ambitious secondary school environment.
This full-time teaching position is set to begin immediately and will run through the rest of the academic year.
🟢 Pay Rate: £140 – £200 per day, depending on experience.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, with a focus on raising attainment and building students’ confidence in reading, writing, and speaking.
Your Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning
Assess and track pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning
Support the development of literacy skills across the wider school community
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is a bonus!)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
Committed to raising standards and inspiring pupils of all abilities
Available full-time and ready to start immediately
