Cover Supervisor

Location: Birmingham

Start Date: As soon as possible

Day Rate: £90 – £110

We're looking for confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work full-time in secondary schools across Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in education, support student learning, and play a key role in day-to-day classroom delivery.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring lessons are delivered as planned

  • Support students with their learning and keep them engaged and on task

  • Provide individual or small group support when needed

  • Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment

  • Work closely with school staff to support learning and behaviour

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in any subject area

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A positive and professional attitude with a genuine interest in working with young people

  • Adaptable, proactive, and confident managing a classroom

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
