Psychology Graduate – Primary Teaching Assistant                                                                                               Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham                                                                                                                 Start Date: ASAP                                                                                                                                                       Daily Rate: £90–£100 per day                                                                                                                                     Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing

Elevate Supply is working with a supportive, Ofsted-rated “Good” primary school in Sutton Coldfield to recruit a Psychology Graduate for a Teaching Assistant role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education, particularly with children who have additional learning or emotional needs.

The school is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and eager to learn. You will support pupils across KS1 and KS2, including 1:1 and small group interventions, helping to improve focus, engagement, and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with additional needs

• Assist teachers in delivering tailored interventions across core subjects

• Promote emotional wellbeing and help pupils build positive relationships

• Monitor and track pupil progress with guidance from the class teacher and SENCO

• Support inclusive classroom practice and contribute to a calm, nurturing learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Psychology or a related field

• A strong interest in child development, SEN, or educational psychology

• A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude

• Experience with children (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential
