History Teacher – South Sheffield | Elevate Supply

Elevate Supply is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join one of our fantastic partner secondary schools in South Sheffield. This is a brilliant opportunity to teach and inspire young minds, helping students connect with the past to better understand the world today.

This is a full-time position starting immediately, running through to the end of the academic year.

🟢 Pay Rate: £140 – £200 per day, depending on experience.

The Role:

You’ll be delivering engaging and thought-provoking History lessons to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop critical thinking skills, historical awareness, and a love of learning.

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach well-structured History lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Support and challenge pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential

• Use a range of assessment methods to track progress and inform planning

• Create a supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and confidence

• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4

• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for History

• Committed to inclusive teaching and raising pupil attainment

• Available full-time and able to start immediately
