Position: Year 6 Teacher
Location: Bury 
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £150 – £200 per day 
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Elevate Supply is working in partnership with a well-established primary school in Bury to appoint an experienced and confident Year 6 Teacher for a full-time position starting as soon as possible. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys the challenge of upper Key Stage 2 and is confident preparing pupils for SATs. The school has a supportive leadership team, a clear behaviour policy, and a strong focus on academic progress. You’ll be working within a structured curriculum and will have the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum

• Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and ensure high levels of engagement and progress

• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment

• Support pupils with varying needs, including those with SEND and EAL

• Work closely with teaching colleagues and school leaders to maintain high standards

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 6 or SATs experience

• Strong classroom management and planning skills

• A calm, consistent approach with a focus on pupil progress

• Ability to work effectively as part of a wider teaching team
