Spanish Teacher – Birmingham

Elevate Supply are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Spanish Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a dedicated teacher who is committed to inspiring students across GCSE and A-Level. The role is covering a maternity starting after May half term for 12 months. 

We are looking for a Spanish Teacher who can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support students' academic progress and love for languages. The ability to offer French as a second subject is highly desirable, as the school is committed to providing a strong and inclusive Modern Foreign Languages curriculum.

Role:

• Position: Spanish Teacher (with French desirable)

• Location: Birmingham

• Key Stages: GCSE and A-Level

• Contract: Temp to Perm for the right candidate

• Pay Scale: MPS/UPS in line with experience and qualifications

• Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching Spanish at GCSE and A-Level

• Be able to teach French (preferable but not essential)

• Be a strong classroom practitioner with a passion for languages

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management

• Be committed to raising achievement and building student confidence
