Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Manchester

Elevate Supply are partnered with a vibrant and inclusive Primary school located in the heart of Manchester City Centre. We are looking to secure a passionate and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to start after the Easter holidays. This is a temporary position covering the end of a maternity cover until the end of the academic year.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to develop their skills in a supportive setting. You will work closely with teachers to assist in delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and providing one-on-one support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
• Support students with their learning activities, both individually and in small groups.
• Help maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing resources and maintaining records.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A patient, caring demeanour with a genuine interest in helping children succeed.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
