ASD Teaching Assistant – Birmingham

Elevate Supply is working with a supportive secondary school in Birmingham to appoint a full-time ASD Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with autism in both mainstream and specialist settings, helping them to succeed academically and personally.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: ASD Teaching Assistant

  • Location: Birmingham

  • Start Date: After Easter half term

  • Daily Rate: £90 – £100

The Role:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with ASD

  • Working closely with teaching staff and the school SENCO to deliver tailored support

  • Supporting students’ emotional, social, and educational development

  • Promoting independence and confidence in all learning environments

  • Contributing to progress tracking and behaviour monitoring

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting students with ASD or other neurodiverse needs

  • A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach

  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for inclusion

  • Full-time availability from Easter half term

  • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development
