Position: Year 2 Teacher
Start Date: Easter 2025
Daily Rate: £150 – £200 per day

Elevate Supply is recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Solihull from Easter 2025. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher who can create a calm and focused classroom environment and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons to Year 2 pupils
• Assess and track pupil progress in line with school policies
• Maintain a well-managed classroom and foster a positive learning environment
• Support children of all abilities, including those with additional needs
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and senior staff to ensure consistency across the key stage

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2
• Confident classroom management and strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A reflective and proactive approach to teaching
