Maths Teacher – South Sheffield (S8) | Elevate Supply

Elevate Supply is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join one of our fantastic partner secondary schools located in South Sheffield (S8). This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds and make a real impact on students’ mathematical understanding across Key Stage 3 and 4.

This full-time teaching role is set to start immediately and will run through to the end of the academic year.

🟢 Pay Rate: £140 – £200 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

The Role: As a Maths Teacher, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective maths lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the school’s wider academic goals. You’ll work collaboratively with other staff to create a supportive learning environment and ensure that all students can achieve their potential in maths.

Your Responsibilities:

• Teach maths across KS3 and KS4.

• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality, differentiated lessons

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Support the wider maths department with curriculum planning and enrichment

• Attend staff meetings, training, and parent evenings as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths education

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting

• Available full-time and ready to start immediately
