Psychology Teaching Assistant – Elevate Supply, Bury (Primary Schools)

Due to a long-term absence cover, Elevate Supply in Bury is looking for a full-time Psychology Teaching Assistant to support students in primary schools across the area.

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Support psychology-related lessons and activities for primary-aged students

This position is ideal for a recent graduate in psychology or a related field who is considering a future career in education, particularly in primary schools. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, offering a chance to gain valuable experience in supporting young learners while developing your teaching skills in a primary school setting.

As a Psychology Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting teachers with lessons and activities related to psychology concepts, tailored for primary-aged children
• Assisting in delivering age-appropriate lessons and helping to reinforce learning through practical exercises
• Encouraging student engagement and participation during lessons
• Supporting students in developing emotional and social skills through classroom activities
• Promoting a positive and supportive learning environment
• Assisting with general classroom duties and helping to implement the curriculum as directed by the teacher
