Secondary Teaching Assistant – Birmingham

Elevate Supply is working with secondary schools in Birmingham to appoint a Teaching Assistant. This is a great opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, particularly those with additional needs, and to help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant

  • Location: Birmingham

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Daily Rate: £90 - 100

The Role:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support where needed

  • Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom routines

  • Helping maintain a well-organised and engaging learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable

  • A proactive, flexible, and patient approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A good understanding of SEN and a genuine interest in supporting young people
