Location: Australia - 100% Remote / Home Working (Must permanently live in Australia & have the right to work without restrictions to apply for this role)
Pay Rate: A$33.00 per hour
Hours of work: 20 hours per week (Can be worked flexibly around teaching hours)
Contract: 12-month initial contract - Self-employed contractor. Responsible for own taxes.

Ongoing projects/how you’ll spend your day:
Competitor and Market Monitoring
Perform daily or weekly horizon scanning of competitor movements and take action as needed.
Stay updated with all relevant guidance and spot opportunities through monitoring competitors and government updates.
Innovation and Idea Generation
Identify and develop unmissable ("brickwall") opportunities.
Generate big ideas to solve customer pain points.
Innovate new ideas and drive content creation through the content roadmap.
Research and Guidance
Stay updated on current research theory and filter relevant findings to the teams.
Support production and development teams with up-to-date guidance.
Strategy and Prioritisation
Create and execute annual business strategies for your content lines.
Decide on current and future priorities based on business strategies.
Create the right content at the right time, clearly communicating resource priorities to the production team.
Collaboration and Communication
Work collaboratively with other Educational Content Leads to ensure a cohesive content approach across the resource collection.
Liaise with other teams and key stakeholders (e.g., marketing, innovation) to organise, communicate and promote your content.
Execute a content linking strategy to ensure a seamless user journey through your content lines.
Performance and Insights
Share content line successes and opportunities for improvement.
Gather content line insights from various sources, such as Tableau, social media, email, and marketing engagement.
Use these insights to inform decisions and identify new opportunities.
Be responsible for the success of your content lines.
To succeed in the role, you will:
Be deeply passionate about the subject or area you're leading and have a strong commitment to education.
Have strong strategic planning skills to decide on priorities and create and execute annual business strategies for content lines.
Possess a creative mindset to generate innovative ideas and drive content creation through the content roadmap.
Be proficient in gathering and analysing insights from sources such as Tableau, social media, email, and marketing engagement.
Liaise effectively with other teams and key stakeholders to organise, communicate, and promote your content.

Other Educational Content Leads, customer-facing teams and other key areas of the business
Education Category Managers on the top level strategy for the area
Your production team of Content Writers, Content Editors, Graphic Designers and Illustrators

We're interested in anyone who meets a combination of the following:
2–3 years teaching experience
Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of key strategies and policy drivers within the Australian education system
Experience of teaching in a secondary school setting
Experience of delivering projects; from ideation through to completion
Be an effective listener and communicator
Ability to spot trends and be comfortable acting upon them
Organised, able to work to deadlines and manages time effectively
