Elevate Supply is currently working with Primary schools in the Leeds area who are looking to appoint a Primary 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start in Easter. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in a student's day-to-day school life by providing tailored support to meet their specific needs. 

Position Overview:

• Job Title: Primary 1.1 Teaching Assistant  

• Location: Leeds

• Day Rate: £95 - £110 per day dependant on experience

• Start Date: Easter 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with special educational needs in and outside the classroom.

• Assist in the delivery of lesson content.

• Help with classroom management and organization.

• Provide one-to-one or small group support for students who need additional help.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting students in a Primary school setting (desirable).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A commitment to student welfare and education.

• Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach.

• An understanding of special educational needs (SEN).

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant (preferable but not essential).
