Secondary English Teacher – Birmingham

The Role:

  • Position: Secondary English Teacher

  • Location: Birmingham B28

  • Pay: £150 - £200 per day

  • Start Date: ASAP

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured English lessons that cater to a range of abilities.

  • Support students in reaching their full potential, preparing them for GCSE exams and assessments.

  • Use creative teaching strategies to bring literature and language to life.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum.

  • Get involved in wider school life, including extracurricular activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in English or a related subject.

  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
