Secondary Maths Teacher – Easter 2025
Location: Sheffield
Start Date: Easter 2025
Day Rate: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Elevate Supply is seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Maths Teacher to join schools in Sheffield. As a Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop a love for mathematics and helping them reach their full academic potential.
Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring that all students are supported and encouraged to achieve their best results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 Mathematics.
- Plan and deliver stimulating lessons that engage students and meet curriculum standards.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress, providing regular feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with the Maths department and wider school team to enhance student learning.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching Maths up to GCSE level (A-Level experience desirable but not essential).
- A passion for teaching and commitment to student development.
- Ability to create a motivating and supportive learning environment.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
