Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Day Rate: £85 - £110

About the Role:

Elevate Supply is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a popular school located in Sheffield. The successful candidate will support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them achieve their academic potential. This full-time role will begin after the Easter Half Term and continue for the remainder of the academic year. There is also the opportunity to earn a permanent contract following the placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with students in the school’s SEN provision, offering tailored support to help them succeed academically.
• Build positive, productive relationships with students, acting as a role model and adapting to each student's individual needs.
• Work alongside the school’s SENCO to track progress, achievement, behavior, and attendance, ensuring every student receives the support they need to flourish.
• Assist students both in the classroom and during SEN sessions, supporting their educational and emotional development.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting students with SEN (ideally ages 6-18).
• Passionate about inclusion and committed to providing the best possible outcomes for students.
• Willing to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Available for full-time work starting after the Easter Half Term.
