Graduate Teaching Assistant – PE Department (Sheffield)
Are you a sports graduate passionate about working with children? Aspiring to be a PE Teacher?

Elevate Supply is working with a larger-than-average secondary school in Sheffield who are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their PE department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about physical education and looking to gain valuable experience within a secondary school setting.

In addition to supporting students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, the role will also involve leading PE sessions and assisting with teaching where required. This is a great opportunity for aspiring PE Teachers to gain further experience in the classroom and build their teaching skills.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Sports Degree (or related field)
  • Experience working with children (School experience is preferred but not essential)
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow
  • A strong communicator who works well within a team
  • A passion for making a positive impact, especially in a school where many students come from disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Experience supporting pupils with additional needs or challenging behaviour (preferred but not essential)
