Elevate Supply are working with a secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a Cover Supervisor. The school is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join the cover team on a full-time basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain classroom experience in a secondary school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, your role will involve delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You will also provide additional support, including intervention sessions on a 1:1 and small group basis in your subject specialism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support students during lessons, ensuring pre-planned work is completed.
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
• Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis as needed, particularly during intervention sessions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils throughout the school day.

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and confident in working with secondary-aged students.
• Previous experience in education or transferable skills (e.g., Youth Work, Graduates) is desirable but not essential.
• Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
