Job Opportunity: Secondary Teaching Assistants – North Sheffield
Part-Time & Ad-Hoc Positions Available

Elevate Supply are collaborating with a school in North Sheffield to provide essential support in the classroom for the remainder of the academic year. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to join the team and help ensure a seamless learning experience for pupils across various subjects and year groups.

About the Role:
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will support the teaching staff in delivering lessons, working with students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, and helping to maintain a positive and focused classroom environment. You will play a key role in supporting students' academic progress, including assisting with classwork and providing additional help where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in the delivery of lessons across different subjects.
  • Assist students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis with their work.
  • Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Offer support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the school day.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and adaptable approach to working in a school setting.
  • Ability to support students across a range of subjects and abilities.
  • Previous experience in education or transferable skills (e.g., Youth Work, Graduates) is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
