As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into various secondary schools across Sheffield to cover staff absences or provide additional support during pre-planned absences. The role offers you a great chance to gain diverse experience while receiving full support and guidance from the schools you work with.

While a degree in education is ideal, it’s not essential. You’ll be tasked with covering a range of subjects—though all work will be pre-planned, and departments will assist to ensure a smooth transition.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons during school hours across various subjects, contributing your enthusiasm and passion for helping students succeed.
• Acting as a role model for students, offering guidance and support throughout their school day.
• Building strong relationships with school staff and students, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
• Continuously improving your teaching practice through ongoing professional development.
