PMLD Teaching Assistant – Elevate Supply
Location: South Yorkshire
Pay Rate: £85 - £110 per day (depending on experience)

Elevate Supply is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing one-to-one and group support to children aged 11-16 with PMLD, Autism, and associated needs.

About the Role:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with PMLD and other additional needs.
• Work closely with the class teacher to provide whole class support and help facilitate a positive learning environment.
• Ensure students are engaged and motivated throughout their lessons by offering a nurturing and supportive approach.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working in specialist environments (e.g., PMLD, Autism, SEN).
• At least 6 months’ experience working with children in the last 2 years.
• A genuine passion for working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, ensuring they are at the center of everything you do.
• Hardworking, charismatic, and able to build rapport with students.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
