You will be responsible for defining, building, and managing the right marketing strategy to drive user growth within the Secondary sector in Wales.

As a commercially minded individual, you will be confident in identifying and pursuing new opportunities. You’ll also be responsible for reporting monthly and quarterly, in line with business expectations. Additionally, you will oversee the quality of the Beyond Cymru product and support the writing and editing team in their efforts.

This is a dynamic role that combines proactive strategic planning with reactive work, as the team adapts and grows to meet the needs of this market.

  • Business Management and Strategy – Developing and executing plans to achieve our ambitious growth targets. You’ll work closely with the Country Manager and Education Content Lead to assess what’s working and identify areas for improvement.

  • Outreach – Identifying potential brand ambassadors and engaging with schools and educational organisations to promote and raise awareness of the Beyond Cymru product.

To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of the secondary market, the new Curriculum for Wales, and its application in Secondary schools, as well as a deep understanding of our customers.

  • Sound decision-making abilities and a keen eye for identifying and seizing new opportunities.

  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with the confidence to take calculated risks and be accountable for both successes and failures. You’ll be comfortable setting SMART targets and reporting at all levels.

  • The ability to communicate a shared vision and inspire individuals and teams.

  • A methodical, highly organised, and detail-oriented approach, with a strong focus on execution.

  • Experience of teaching in a secondary school for over two years, with a solid understanding of the classroom environment and educational needs.

  • Experience in marketing, with a solid understanding of social media marketing and how to leverage these platforms to engage and grow an audience.

You’ll work with:

  • Our Wales Country Manager who will also be your line manager.

  • Our Education Content Lead.

  • The Twinkl Cymru production team, ensuring that our products are right for the market.

  • Our Wales Marketing Assistant.

Please include a cover letter to help us better understand why you are interested in this role and how your skills and your experience will help you to be successful.
