Job Introduction
Location: Kuwait, 100% remote work-from-home position (You must permanently live and have the right to work in Kuwait to apply for this position)
Pay Rate: $13- USD per hour.
Contract: 6-month contract with an extension highly likely. Self-employed contractor. Responsible for own taxes. No benefits.
Hours of work: full time (37.5 hours per week) during office hours. This role is not suitable for people who also have a full time teaching role.

The Role:
Here at Twinkl we are currently looking for an Arabic Content Writer & Editor to join our Twinkl Kuwait team and create exceptional educational resources (in Arabic) to support the Ministry of Education National Curriculum of Kuwait. You’ll be writing a variety of resources, ranging from simple worksheets, lesson PowerPoints, lesson plans, assessments and so much more! The resources you will make will cover a variety of topics such as: Maths, Arabic Language, Social Studies, Life Skills, IT, Islamic Studies and more, and should align perfectly with the current Kuwait curriculum. We are looking for creative, innovative, cooperative content writers/editors to join our team and collaborate with making perfect Arabic content on our website.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and giving back to the education community, and keen to share their expertise with others in their team. To succeed in this role you must have perfect Arabic writing skills (following Arabic grammar rules) and have a record of teaching the Kuwait MOE Curriculum. As a team we are looking to add new creative ideas and engaging resources to improve our Arabic content on the website.
In your role as a writer/editor, you will focus on quality when writing content and help ensure that the content of our resources the writers have written is accurate and well written, helping us to deliver high-quality Arabic materials to children across Kuwait.
As part of the Twinkl Kuwait team, you will communicate with other team members and attend weekly meetings to stay updated on the progress of our work. You will be part of an agile team that communicates via email, messaging, and video meetings. To fulfil this role, you will need to provide your own technology and have reliable high-speed internet access.
The content you write will be turned into professional Twinkl products by our highly skilled design and illustration team.
How you’ll spend your day:
helping to ideate new resources in order to grow the Arabic product library on Twinkl website, considering age groups, different genres, popular topics and representing diversity;
Creating Arabic resources following the Kuwait National Curriculum aims, meeting, working and communicating with other team members of designers and illustrators to ensure high quality of your resources.
Researching Arabic educational resource trends and ideas to make sure your assigned resources will be instant hits with our millions of global members.
You’ll work with:
Faiza Khan (Kuwait Country Manager) – Faiza Khan leads the Twinkl Kuwait team and is responsible for all resources made for, and relating to the Kuwait market on the Twinkl website. Faiza has been working at Twinkl for close to four years. With a background in Education and Entrepreneurship, Faiza believes that a team that is passionate about innovation holds the key to growth.
Other Twinkl team members – You will work closely with the entire production team that consists of designers, illustrators and content writers and editors. You will also work on regional projects with other content writers and editors, as well as the content executive to promote exciting local partnerships. We all work together in harmony towards one message, which is providing the highest quality Arabic content to help all those who teach in Arabic in Kuwait, the Middle East, and the rest of the world!
We are especially interested in anyone who also meets the following:
Have experience writing Arabic educational content that is in line with Kuwait’s MOE Curriculum.
Have an excellent understanding of Arabic and excellent spelling and punctuation skills in Arabic.
Qualifications: Hold A bachelor's university degree in education/languages/literature.
Qualifications: English language from accredited institutions in Kuwait.
Be creative, accurate, always bring new ideas to the table and be able to communicate in English.
