Are you passionate about supporting educators, pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, and parents in Taiwan’s diverse learning environments? At Twinkl Taiwan, we’re seeking an innovative Content Writer/Editor to help us meet the evolving needs of education.
Our focus is on creating professional development (CPD) webinars and localised teaching and learning resources that align with Taiwan’s 12-Year Compulsory Curriculum Guidelines (108 Curriculum Guidelines). We specialise in differentiated instruction, providing solutions for language teachers, subject teachers, and Mandarin teachers working with students from K-12 and adult learners. Additionally, we prioritise the development of "competence-driven questions" in assessments, a core element of the current curriculum, to enhance learners' critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
As the education landscape rapidly integrates technology, we’re looking for a creative individual who can seamlessly merge Twinkl’s award-winning resources with digital tools like tablets and interactive whiteboards. Your contributions will ensure that Twinkl remains a trusted partner for educators navigating today’s fast-paced, tech-driven classrooms.

The successful candidate will be vital in ensuring that these ambitious plans for Taiwan become a reality. This is a flexible position where you can work from home, and the hours can be agreed between you and your line manager to suit your current commitments. However, you should consider that you will be part of a production line so you will need to have a percentage of hours to distribute from Monday to Friday. This role will not be suitable for someone with full-time teaching commitments.
Ongoing projects/how you’ll spend your day:
Designing teaching and learning resources that align with Taiwan’s Curriculum Guidelines.
Localising content to address featured educational trends and issues, ensuring relevance for Taiwan’s educators and learners.
Transforming "ready-made" resources into "ready-to-teach" materials by tailoring them to the specific needs of Taiwan users.
Developing competence-driven assessments that align with the curriculum’s focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, and skill-based learning for target learners.
To succeed in the role, you will:
Have an excellent understanding and appropriate implementation of Taiwan’s 12-Year Compulsory Curriculum Guidelines.
Have the experience of working with on-site educators.
Have/Working on a degree in Education, English, or a related field.
Have at least 2 years of work experience in schools or educational institutions.
Be confident in creating curriculum-aligned project lessons, differentiated materials, competence-driven assessments, and continuing professional development (CPD) module resources.
Demonstrate proficiency in both Traditional Chinese (ZH-TW) and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Have excellent editing skills in both Traditional Chinese and English.
Be a creative and proactive thinker, capable of generating, writing, and editing innovative ideas for teaching and learning resources.
Be familiar with integrating educational technology into teaching practices.
In this role, you will learn:
How to create and adapt educational materials aligned with Taiwan’s Curriculum Guidelines.
To work collaboratively with other content writers, editors, and designers to produce high-quality, localised educational resources.
The process of developing resources/assessments for Twinkl Taiwan, from the ideation stage to publication on the platform.
How to collaborate effectively in a remote, global team environment, communicating primarily in English.
How to discover opportunities to localise Twinkl’s broad range of content lines, tailoring them to the unique requirements of Taiwan users.

Other educators and team members – a collaborative team of content writers, editors,content executives, and designers, all working together to create localised resources and innovate new ideas.
Global Twinkl colleagues – work closely with teams across the globe to share expertise, gain insights, and develop resources that reflect Twinkl’s vision.
We are looking for candidates that meet the following requirements:
Teaching experience and strong knowledge of Taiwan’s 12-Year Compulsory Curriculum Guidelines.
Has excellent editing skills in both Traditional Chinese and English.
Is passionate about supporting educators in Taiwan, particularly in helping K-12 language teachers, subject teachers, and Mandarin teachers excel in their roles.
Is enthusiastic about integrating Twinkl’s resources with innovative educational tools and technologies to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Has a strong interest in contributing to the localization of Twinkl’s resources for Taiwan’s diverse educational environment.
