Location: Fully Remote / Work from Home - Must be based in Austria & have the right to work with no restrictions. Can be based anywhere in Austira.

Contract: 12-month fixed term (with potential to be renewed)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (fully flexible working around core meetings)

Do you have a vision for improving teaching and learning nationwide?

As Twinkl expands into new territories, we need a Country Manager to lead our efforts in Austria. This role requires smart thinking, a knack for business, and a real passion for helping teachers.

We are looking for an individual who is not only passionate about supporting educators but also deeply connected with educators across the country. A keen awareness in marketing and social media is beneficial as you will be responsible for increasing our brand presence and engaging with our audience effectively. 

You'll need to be able to spot opportunities and strategically showcase our products. It's a varied role that needs both planning and quick thinking to keep up with the changes in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Entry Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a market entry strategy for Twinkl in Austria.

  • Utilise all available tools to showcase Twinkl's offerings and establish a strong presence in the market.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and gather insights into the local education sector.


Product Localisation and Development:

  • Lead the creation of localised resources and products tailored to the needs of the targeted customer base.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with national curriculum standards.


Marketing and Brand Awareness:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels to reach target audiences effectively.

  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media and email marketing

  • Actively seek and cultivate partnerships with local organisations and influencers to expand brand reach and credibility.

  • Utilise marketing analytics to measure campaign performance and optimise strategies accordingly.


Business Growth and Performance:

  • Achieve revenue targets, new customer acquisition goals, and other key performance indicators.

  • Monitor market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to drive growth.

  • Provide regular reporting on market performance and progress towards business objectives.


To success in this role, you will have a combination of the following:

  • Thorough knowledge of the targeted education market and customer needs.

  • Experience teaching in a primary school in Austria. 

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to seize opportunities.

  • Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset and risk-taking ability.

  • Highly organised with a focus on execution and results.

  • Tech-savvy with a good understanding of social media platforms.
