Job Introduction
Loyalty Consultant (9 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Remote UK
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Contract: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract
Reports to: Retention Director
Twinkl is launching a customer loyalty programme, starting with a trial in 2026 in the UK ahead of a full global rollout in 2027. We're looking for a hands-on Senior Loyalty Manager to take our loyalty strategy from blueprint to reality.
The topline strategy is already defined - this role is about execution. You'll help to build out the programme's benefits and communications, working closely with UKI Marketing and Retention Product Engineering teams to launch the trial, learn fast and shape the plan for full rollout. This is a brilliant opportunity for a loyalty specialist who enjoys building something from the ground up and wants to see their work go live within months, not years.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Proposition
Translate the loyalty strategy into actionable plans that drive participation, engagement and revenue.
Own the loyalty programme benefits proposition end-to-end - defining, developing and refining the benefits that sit at the heart of the programme.
Identify cross-audience opportunities for the loyalty programme, ensuring the proposition and benefits are designed with Twinkl's full customer base in mind (e.g. teachers, parents, schools) rather than a single segment.
Own the loyalty programme's brand identity (name, look and feel, tone of voice) centrally, partnering closely with UKI Marketing to ensure it resonates in the trial market and scales effectively for global rollout.
Support the Retention Director on the commercial economics of the programme, including cost modelling, benefit ROI and business case development.
Trial Delivery
Own end-to-end delivery of the trial launch, working closely with the Retention and Engagement Product Engineering team to scope, test and implement the technical build.
Design and run the trial evaluation framework, capturing learnings to inform the go/no-go decision and scope for full rollout.
Manage the loyalty programme roadmap and timeline from trial through to full launch, flagging risks and dependencies early.
Cross-Team Orchestration
Brief the CRM team on the lifecycle and triggered email requirements needed to support the loyalty programme, ensuring communications align with the overall member journey (segmentation, content, and design to be owned by CRM).
Brief the Partnership Marketing team on the loyalty benefits proposition and partner criteria required to support the programme (partner relationships and negotiation owned by Partnerships team).
Act as the day-to-day link between Retention and UKI Marketing, fostering a collaborative working environment.
Be the key Loyalty contact for the Retention Product Engineering team, keeping the programme on track and unblocking issues as they arise.
Ongoing Management
Ensure continuous optimisation across tech capabilities, customer journeys, and cross-functional integration of loyalty initiatives.
Develop and maintain a robust reporting framework, monitor KPIs, and provide regular performance updates to senior leaders.
Skills & Experience:
5+ years in loyalty marketing; ideally in a B2C or subscription model.
Strategic thinker with proven experience of delivering Loyalty programmes in the UKI market.
Track record of taking a loyalty programme from concept/pilot through to live launch.
Comfortable working with Product/Engineering teams to translate strategy into technical requirements.
Ability to demonstrate both a customer-first and commercial mindset.
Confident presenting insights and influencing cross-functional stakeholders across regions.
Data fluent with the ability to pull out key insights from multiple data sets and tell a clear story with the data, alongside identifying appropriate actions as a result.
Knowledge of analytics software (e.g. Tableau, GA).
If you require a reasonable adjustment to the application/selection process to enable you to demonstrate your ability to perform the job requirements, please include this at the foot of your covering letter.
