Why this role matters

At Twinkl, we’re looking for a Senior Commercial Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the execution of our commercial strategy across the UK & Ireland.

This is a highly impactful role at the centre of our cross-functional teams. You’ll turn strategy into action owning the delivery of commercial initiatives end-to-end, ensuring they are effectively planned, executed, and optimised to drive measurable growth.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy bringing structure to complexity, and are motivated by commercial impact, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape how we deliver value across both B2C and B2B markets.

What you’ll be doing

End-to-end delivery & execution

  • Own the full lifecycle of commercial initiatives from ideation and planning through to go-to-market and post-launch evaluation
  • Ensure all initiatives are delivered on time, on brief, and aligned to commercial objectives
  • Drive measurable outcomes, with a strong focus on revenue and performance impact

Strategy into action

  • Translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable roadmaps and delivery plans
  • Align timelines, deliverables, and ownership across multiple teams
  • Support prioritisation to ensure focus on the highest-value opportunities

Roadmap & portfolio management

  • Lead the planning and management of the UKI product and content roadmap
  • Ensure alignment with market needs, customer segments, and revenue opportunities
  • Evolve and optimise our UKI catalogue architecture to improve discoverability and performance (including SEO alignment)

Cross-functional leadership

  • Act as the central point of coordination across education, product, marketing, sales, innovation, and partnerships
  • Drive alignment on priorities, responsibilities, and shared goals
  • Facilitate strong collaboration, clear communication, and seamless delivery

Process & operational excellence

  • Design and implement scalable processes and ways of working
  • Embed best practices to improve delivery speed, consistency, and quality
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and commercial performance

Performance & insight

  • Partner with data teams to define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
  • Analyse performance and provide actionable insights, what’s working, what’s not, and why
  • Feed learnings back into planning cycles to drive continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

  • 6-8+ years’ experience in commercial operations, programme management, or delivery-focused roles
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
  • Strong experience working across product, marketing, sales, and content/education teams
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans with a focus on results
  • Experience managing roadmaps, portfolios, or large-scale programmes
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience driving revenue, conversion, retention, or engagement
  • Confidence working with data, defining KPIs, building dashboards, and using insights to inform decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and scale ways of working
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Experience supporting P&L performance, including tracking revenue, costs, and commercial impact

How success will be measured (KPIs)

  • % of commercial initiatives delivered on time
  • Revenue uplift driven by delivered initiatives
  • % of resources aligned to highest-value opportunities
  • Stakeholder satisfaction and feedback
