Overview:

Twinkl is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Marketing to lead our marketing team in the U.S. You will be responsible for collaborating with the global marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, product adoption, and user growth across the U.S. market. This leadership role will report directly to the Country Manager and collaborate closely with global marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in marketing strategy within the EdTech industry, with a proven track record of leading teams and executing results-driven campaigns and initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a data-driven marketing strategy for the U.S. market, aligned with our growth ambitions.

  • Champion Twinkl's brand in the U.S., driving awareness, consideration, and preference among educators.

  • Manage in-country teams for social media and brand marketing, while receiving global support for other marketing disciplines to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive marketing strategy.

  • Identify and collaborate with the global team on growth strategies to optimize marketing funnel performance.

  • Identify and capitalise on thought leadership opportunities, establishing our brand as a trusted authority in the industry.

  • Oversee targeted product marketing campaigns to maximize user adoption and engagement with Twinkl's vast educational resources.

  • Craft a compelling social media strategy to build a strong online presence, drive consideration, and engage with all audiences.

  • Identify and engage in strategic brand partnerships in the U.S., working closely with the global team to enhance Twinkl's market presence and expand our reach within the education sector.

  • Work alongside global marketing teams to ensure cohesive and synergistic marketing efforts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, to align go-to-market strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Implement the global measurement framework to track campaign performance and ROI.

  • Manage the marketing budget for the US, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

  • Analyze competitor marketing activities and identify opportunities to differentiate Twinkl's position in the U.S. market.

  • Communicate and report back on strategy and campaign performance and provide insights for future development. 

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies in the education sector.



Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably within the EdTech or B2C space, with a strong emphasis on brand, product, and growth marketing.

  • Experience in building and leading high-performing marketing teams.

  • Strong understanding of the U.S. education market and the needs of educators and parents.

  • Proven experience in leading successful marketing campaigns and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Data-driven approach to marketing with a strong understanding of marketing metrics and analytics.

  • Experience with project management methodologies and a focus on delivering results.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex marketing challenges.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and analytics software.
