Twinkl is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to lead the delivery and execution of our marketing strategy in Romania. This pivotal role is responsible for driving day-to-day activations across social media (with a focus on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Meta), community engagement, content production, and multi-channel campaigns.

Overview

The Marketing Executive supports the delivery and execution of Twinkl’s marketing strategy for Romania, focusing on social media, community engagement, content production, and multi-channel campaigns. 

This role drives day-to-day activations, helping to grow engagement, advocacy, and product adoption while ensuring all initiatives reflect Twinkl’s educator-first approach and brand values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the planning and execution of Romania’s marketing campaigns and tactics across digital and offline channels, ensuring alignment with Romania’s KPIs and Twinkl’s brand.

  • Maintain content and marketing calendars, coordinating with product, content, and marketing teams to deliver timely and consistent activations.

  • Co-own the social media and community strategy for Romania, driving engagement, growth, and advocacy.

  • Plan, create, and schedule content for social channels (especially TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Meta) that reflects Twinkl’s brand, educator-first approach, and Romania’s priorities.

  • Execute ambassador programs, community-led initiatives, and educator engagement campaigns to strengthen Twinkl’s presence, credibility, and user-generated content.

  • Co-own the influencer marketing strategy for Romania, driving influencer sourcing and outreach to build partnerships that amplify campaigns and community engagement.

  • Deliver “surprise and delight” initiatives, including giveaways and engagement activities tailored to educator motivations.

  • Monitor social and community performance metrics, reporting weekly on engagement, reach, and impact to inform optimisation.

  • Conduct social listening and trend monitoring to identify opportunities, inform content, and support the Marketing Manager in campaign strategy.

  • Assist in content creation for email, blog, webinar, video, and other marketing channels, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with Twinkl’s brand values.

  • Support the Marketing Manager with reporting on campaign and channel performance.

  • Collaborate with product marketing on integrated campaigns that optimise the user journey from onsite experiences to online and offline activations, maximising adoption and engagement with Twinkl resources.

  • Ensure all marketing initiatives consistently reinforce Twinkl’s brand, thought leadership, and educator-first approach, embodying our philosophy: for educators, by educators.

  • Improve Twinkl’s discoverability across LLMs and other AI-driven platforms.

  • Collaborate with the central growth, strategic partnerships, and cross-functional teams (including product development) to align go-to-market strategies with broader business objectives and continuously optimise the marketing funnel.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends, technologies, and sector developments to ensure Twinkl remains competitive and innovative.

KPIs: 

  • Social KPI for all social platforms:

  • Reach increase 15% YoY

  • ER increase by 15% YoY 

  • Followers increase by 15% YoY 

  • 30-35% of prospects generated via the following channels: social media, referral, influencers, ambassadors, direct, branded search, ChatGPT and campaigns (based on UTMs) by the EY26

  • Increase earned mentions  by 15% YoY 

  • Activate 3-5 influencers or ambassadors per month.
