At Twinkl, we're not just building software - we're transforming how millions of educators and learners interact with educational content and resources worldwide. By creating adaptable, comprehensive learning tools, we're breaking down educational barriers. We believe in empowering the next generation with the skills and resources they need to succeed, no matter their geographic or economic background. We’re not just sharing resources; we're building a global learning community. As we scale our platform to serve parents, teachers, and students across the globe, we're seeking an exceptional Product Operations Manager to help drive our technical evolution.
The Product Operations Manager will be the connective tissue for our Product Team, composed of Product Managers, Product Designers and UXR. This role is responsible for the operational excellence of the product development lifecycle, ensuring our PMs and Designers can focus on strategy, discovery, and innovation by maintaining efficient processes, tools, data, and communication. You will drive continuous improvement and scalability across the product function, including oversight and support for the overall product portfolio management process.
What will the role involve?
Process Optimization & Standardization
Identify, design, and implement standardized workflows, rituals, and documentation for key product development processes (e.g., sprint planning, backlog grooming, roadmap updates, launch processes).
Establish and maintain a single source of truth for the product roadmap and core strategy documents, ensuring alignment across the organization.
Help the team scale by proactively addressing operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
Tooling and Tech Stack Management
Own and manage the entire product tech stack (tools for roadmapping, prototyping, experimentation, communication, data capture, etc.).
Support evaluation, procurement and implementation of new tools, managing vendor relationships.
Onboard and train new and existing team members on best practices for using the product stack.
Data, Metrics, and Feedback Management
Manage the end-to-end customer feedback loop, ensuring feedback is consistently collected, organized, categorized, and synthesized into actionable insights for the Product Team.
Own the data pipelines for product health, creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and product metrics (qualitative and quantitative) to enable data-informed decision-making for PMs.
Support the product ceremonies from strategy definition, portfolio review and intake planning.
Cross-Functional Enablement & Communication
Lead product portfolio processes including capacity planning, prioritisation, and cross-team dependency management.
Act as the "glue" that ensures seamless and consistent communication between the Product Team and key stakeholders, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Support.
Support Go-To-Market activities by managing internal communication of new features and maintaining a central repository of key product information for Product, Marketing and Sales.
Facilitate key cross-functional alignment meetings, workshops and document critical decisions.
What do we need from you?
5+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management or Program Management, highly preferable within a digital / tech environment.
Proven ability to define, streamline, and scale business processes and workflows.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, report generation, and experience with modern data/analytics tools (e.g. Graphana, Looker).
Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with the Product Management tech stack and product/agile development methodologies.
A passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
A "can-do" attitude and comfort with ambiguity and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience leading training sessions and crafting clear product documentation.
