The Role:
Truly our mission in motion, educators are the heart of everything we do. Our work fostering community is critical in establishing Twinkl in the US education market, strengthening brand love, and continuing to build an even better Twinkl. Working closely with our Head of Community, you will manage our engagement strategy across programs, campaigns, and events. Moreover, you will work closely with colleagues across social, email, content, partnerships, and product teams to ensure community representation in everything we do.
You’re eager to immerse yourself in the world of education in The United States. You have a strong appreciation for the role of educators and a deep understanding of their needs, behaviors, and desires. You’re someone who is confident in front of an audience, excited to present as a representative of Twinkl across the US.
This role’s primary focus is exercising our engagement strategies. Moreover, you’ll act as a catalyst between product and community, sourcing input from our community and relaying updates from our team. With the support of a small and agile team, you’ll develop and scale experiments to recognize and motivate our community, crafting impactful ways to reach new educators. You are innovative, critical, empathetic, independently driven, and detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with our Head of Community to develop and refine our engagement strategies for unique audiences.
Plan, organize, and execute high-impact community initiatives.
Cultivate relationships with key educators, influencers, and partners to build a strong network of Twinkl evangelists across The US.
Manage and grow our ambassador program, fostering a supportive and vibrant exchange of ideas.
In close partnership with our social team, maintain an active pulse across channels, celebrating, amplifying, and thanking educators for their work.
Curate, organize, and maintain an every-growing library of prominent educator testimonials.
Host workshops to help educators learn about Twinkl and impactful ways to leverage the library resources.
Building upon the work from our Creative Team, you’ll create images, produce videos, and write copy to support our community programs.
Manage ongoing and one-off projects, coordinating logistics among various stakeholders.
Coordinate logistics and attend conferences and events across The US.
Operate the Twinkl swag inventory, processing and shipping swag to members across The US.
Track and analyze KPIs for sentiment, engagement, growth, and business impact.
What You’ll Bring:
Deep understanding of educators, the US education market, and evolving trends in education.
Plugged into the evolving world of online communities, maintaining a pulse on what sparks connection with an eagerness to incorporate concepts for an educator audience.
A test-and-learn mindset: an eagerness to experiment, evaluate what resonates, and evolve or learn from enlightening failures.
Excellent customer service skills, proactively identifying and addressing needs, exceeding expectations.
An appreciation for the art and science of fostering community: building relationships while grounding decisions in data, feedback, and constant iteration.
Confidence speaking in front of audiences and answering questions.
Enthusiasm for creating images, videos, and copy leveraging brand guidelines.
Strong project management skills, coordinating multiple projects and parties with ability to focus on details while simultaneously analyzing the greater impact.
Innovative spirit, eagerness to identify and build upon enticing opportunities to create high-impact initiatives.
Affinity for change, a fast pace, and flexibility, adapting and evolving alongside a growing team, shifting focus with changing priorities.
