Sitting within the Twinkl Growth Marketing Team, you'll design and post pins to the global Twinkl Pinterest account. The goal will be to deliver excellent growth of the Pinterest channel in terms of reach and following, whilst also developing the channel into an even greater source of referral and sales opportunities for both Twinkl membership and Essentials.

Combining elements of SEO, Canva design and Digital Marketing, you'll support a Pinterest Strategy via pin design work, SEO optimisation and data analysis, making data-driven decisions which deliver Pinterest as one of the most effective reach and referral channels for the products and segments Twinkl serves. Given that this team is so young, there’s so much scope for proposing innovative ideas, projects and campaigns which you’ll have the freedom to lead and execute on.

We're looking for candidates with strong design/creative skills who are keen to develop their digital toolkit and grow further within the Pinterest team.

How you’ll spend your day:

  • Creative design: Because Pinterest is all about freshness, consistency and relevancy, a Pinterest Executive’s priority will be to create new scroll-stopping, clickable content for searchers, bringing more traffic to the website.

  • SEO Optimisation: Using Pinterest SEO tools and your own ability to spot gaps, trends and demands for new Pins, you’ll create engaging copy using keyword research to improve rankings and bring not just views but traffic to the website.

  • Content Optimisation: Optimising existing pins based on data insights to ensure we have up-to-date and customer-focused content, leading to increased channel performance. This will include monitoring and reporting on account and group board performance.

  • Scheduling content: Owning the operational processes for uploading and scheduling content according to Pinterest insights.

  • Ongoing Audits and Report: Measuring, analysing and tracking data with Pinterest and Google Analytics on a range of metrics to ensure we’re building content that performs well and delights our Pinterest users. Working together with the Pinterest Lead to report and analyse account performance.

  • Innovation: Being able to constantly search for and experiment new scalable project ideas that bring innovation and proactively assess opportunities for new features. Staying on top of ever-changing trends and updates which can be used to improve the current strategy.

  • Working with stakeholders: Helping to communicate across departments on best practices for delivering digital content experiences that benefit the Pinterest audiences, the business and support large-scale projects to ensure consistent messaging across the platform.

If you like planning, testing and designing, then becoming a Pinterest Executive could be your next step.

To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • A solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.

  • An ability to deliver creative content (text, image or video) and excellent copywriting skills.

  • An understanding of graphic design principles.

  • An ability to keep up with innovative trends.

  • An ability to communicate openly and honestly.

  • Excellent time management skills and take ownership of the projects you work on.

  • A creative mind that’s always on the lookout for new projects and opportunities.

In this role, you will learn:

  • How to design eye-catching Pins and videos that bring more traffic to the website.

  • How to write and optimise your copy for improved Pinterest SEO using Keywords Everywhere, Keyword Pinterest Planner and more.

  • How to analyse your strategy by using Google Analytics and Pinterest Analytics.

  • How to use Pinterest scheduling Apps including Tailwind and Pinterest Scheduler.

  • How to build relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • A choice of digital marketing skills with the opportunity to grow and advance into specialist positions.

You’ll work with:

  • Pinterest Team - a friendly and collaborative team of 6, working to continuously improve Twinkl’s referral traffic and online presence through Pinterest.

We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:

  • Strong copywriting skills with a solid understanding of SEO.

  • A creative eye for design and a drive to develop strategies that deliver measurable results.

  • Genuine enthusiasm for supporting educators and the teaching community.

  • Alignment with Twinkl’s values: leading the way, going above and beyond, doing the right thing, and being lovely.
