Job Introduction

Location: Argentina- 100% Remote / Home Working (Must permanently live in Argentina & have the right to work without restrictions to apply for this role)

Pay Rate: $6 (USD) per hour.

Contract: 12-month initial contract (Highly likely to be extended, but no guarantees) - Self-employed contractor. Responsible for own taxes.

The Role:

At Twinkl Argentina we are looking for someone who is highly organised and passionate about education and helping those who teach. You will have the opportunity to join our production team and, with the help of our fantastic designers, create a wide range of teaching resources, including PowerPoints, worksheets, escape rooms and much more! In this role your responsibilities will include writing original content aligned to the Argentinian curriculum, as well as proofreading content created by other teachers in our team. We are also creating webinars and educational content for teachers to learn about the new methodologies, so we are looking for someone who knows how to communicate and is not afraid to be on camera. 

How you’ll spend your week:

  • Meeting with other Twinkl writers or the Argentina Country Manager to discuss new ideas;

  • Writing innovative and original content for the Argentinian market;

  • Proofreading content created by other team members;

  • Helping to develop PBL resources, as well as gamification projects.

  • Helping to create CPD, guides and webinars for future teachers. 

To succeed in the role, you will:

  • Be a fully qualified Primary teacher (Degree level) with at least 3 years of teaching in schools in Argentina.

  • Have detailed knowledge of the Diseño Curricular (CABA).

  • Be currently working in a school implementing Active Methodologies. 

  • Be an expert in active methodologies, specially Gamification and PBL.

  • Be focused on collaboration, using feedback to make our resources the best they can be.

  • Be aware of the constant training needs of teachers in Argentina.

  • Be charismatic and able to communicate in front of a camera, to create courses and webinars for your peers.

  • Be able to communicate effectively in English (Written & Spoken).

  • Have native Spanish language skills (Written & Spoken).

We’re are especially interested in anyone who also meets the following requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree in Primary Education and extra qualifications on Active or other teaching Methodologies

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Primary school teaching experience in Argentina.

  • Ed tech savvy: You will be up-to-date in terms of Edtech.
