About Twinkl

We're here to help those who teach. It's what brings us to work every day. At Twinkl, we’ve been providing educators across the world with high quality, trusted teaching and learning resources for over a decade now. They’re all written and checked by our wonderful team of experienced educators, and there are hundreds of thousands of resources to download, with new ones added daily.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Localization Coordinator to lead and scale the localization efforts for our digital platforms, focusing on delivering the best possible experience for all our international markets. You will be responsible for coordinating the localization of our website, emails, and the entire customer journey, ensuring that each country offers a culturally relevant and linguistically accurate experience.

This role requires collaboration with central teams (product, translation, marketing, etc.) and country managers to ensure that localization efforts are aligned and prioritised. The successful candidate will also leverage technology and AI to scale our localization processes across multiple languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Localization Prioritisation & Execution:

    1. Own the localization process for Twinkl’s e-commerce platforms across all international markets, ensuring that the website, email content, checkout journey, and customer touchpoints are tailored to local preferences.

    2. Collaborate with central product, marketing, and translation teams to build and manage glossaries, style guides, and tone of voice for each territory.

    3. Implement scalable language quality processes, ensuring tone of voice, accuracy, and brand consistency across all localised content.

  2. Technology & AI Integration:

    1. Leverage AI and machine learning technologies to scale localization efforts across multiple languages, improving efficiency and maintaining high quality.

    2. Work closely with technical teams to integrate AI-driven tools to optimise localization workflows and minimise human errors.

    3. Explore emerging technologies to improve localization scalability, speed, and quality.

  3. Project Management:

    1. Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and execution of all localization requirements, ensuring translation projects are managed efficiently while balancing team workloads and capacity to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

    2. Track and report on localization project status, delivery timelines, translation progress, costs, and any potential issues.

    3. Lead regular meetings with internal teams to align on localization priorities and deliver clear project statuses.

  4. Operational Efficiency & Process Optimization:

    1. Standardise localization processes by tracking translation requests, schedules, costs, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

    2. Identify opportunities for process improvements and tool optimizations that can enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and ensure better scalability.

    3. Collaborate with the internal teams to connect localization workflows with broader business systems, optimising content management and delivery pipelines.

  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

    1. Serve as the main point of contact for localization efforts across the company, collaborating closely with central teams.

    2. Partner with country managers to gather insights and feedback on localization performance and adapt strategies based on local market needs.

    3. Work alongside the central product and UX teams to enhance the user journey and customer experience in each market.

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 3 + years of experience in e-commerce, localization project management, or content management with a focus on global markets.

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end localization processes, including translation and transcreation for multiple languages.

  • Strong understanding of website, email, and checkout localization, including cultural sensitivities and UX adaptation.

  • Experience working with translation teams, both internal and external, and managing glossaries, style guides, and tone of voice for new markets.

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI and technology to improve the localization process at scale, optimising for speed and quality.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams and manage stakeholders at different levels.

  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

If you are passionate about delivering localised, culturally relevant experiences to a global audience and have the skills to scale localization using technology, we’d love to hear from you!
