The Role: STEM Commissioning Editor
We’re looking for a STEM Commissioning Editor to help us produce the best questions and content in science, maths, computer science, business, and other STEM-related subjects. Based in the vibrant city of Oxford, you'll be part of a team that genuinely makes a difference in education.
Reporting to: Head of Editorial
You will need experience in commissioning STEM educational resources, including:
A strong understanding of the challenges faced by science and maths teachers
Knowledge of the UK education system and qualifications
Researching courses and specifications
Project planning, budgeting, and management
Recruiting and commissioning suppliers
Briefing authors
Copy-editing and proofreading
Key Responsibilities
Identifying and proposing opportunities for new content
Commissioning engaging and accurate content
Project managing the development of high-quality educational materials
Collaborating with the marketing team to promote our STEM resources
Working closely with the product team to ensure our content and platform work seamlessly together
