Job Introduction

Location: Italy - 100% Remote / Home Working (Must permanently live in Italy & have the right to work without restrictions to apply for this role)

Pay Rate: €16 - €20 Euros per hour

Contract: 12-month initial contract (Highly likely to be extended, but no guarantees) - Self-employed contractor. Responsible for own taxes.

As Twinkl continues to evolve and expand its reach in the education sector in Italy, we are seeking a dedicated Country Manager to play a pivotal role in positioning us as the leading education resource provider in Italy. 

We're looking for a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of education and a keen eye for market needs. You'll be well-connected in the education sector, passionate about supporting educators, and adept at leading teams. Mastery in marketing and social media is essential for increasing our brand presence, while your entrepreneurial mindset and educational expertise will drive strategic product development.

You'll need to be able to spot opportunities and strategically showcase our products. It's a varied role that needs both planning and quick thinking to keep up with the changes in the market.


Key Responsibilities:


Educational Leadership and Market Understanding:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the education landscape and the evolving needs of educators and learners.

  • Forge strong relationships with decision-makers and educators across the country, positioning Twinkl as the go-to resource provider.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and gather insights into the local education sector.



Product development:

  • Lead the development and improvement of resources designed for educators' specific careers.

  • Lead a team, motivating them to excel and encouraging innovation and teamwork.

  • Use your entrepreneurial mindset to find new opportunities, lead important projects, and drive Twinkl's growth forward.



Marketing and Brand Awareness:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels to reach target audiences effectively.

  • Build relationships with local organisations and influencers to broaden our brand's reach and credibility in the market.

  • Strategically highlight Twinkl's products to align with educators' needs.

  • Analyse marketing data to assess campaign success and refine strategies as needed.


Business Growth and Performance:

  • Achieve revenue targets, new customer acquisition goals, and other key performance indicators.

  • Monitor market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to drive growth.

  • Provide regular reporting on market performance and progress towards business objectives.



To success in this role, you will have a combination of the following:


  • Thorough knowledge of the Italian education market and customer needs.

  • Experience teaching in a public state school.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
