Location: Anywhere in Australia - 100% Remote / Home Working (Must permanently live in Australia & have the right to work without restrictions to apply for this role)
Salary: A$75,000 - A$100,000 AUD (DOE) per annum pro rata
Contract: Full-time, permanent employee contract
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, between 8:30-5pm Monday to Friday

Job Overview:
We’re looking for a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to join our new sales division in the Australian market, owning one of our key 3 territories. You will be responsible for driving growth by selling to schools and other key strategic organisations and groups such as Dioceses while ensuring a deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and the specific state curriculum and/or syllabus you manage.
This role requires you to stay up to date with the Australian education system, curriculum developments and competitors to position Twinkl’s memberships and products effectively.
Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and reaching out to principals, senior leadership teams, education leaders and CEOs, promoting our products, and closing sales.
Our 3 key territories will be:
Western Australia and Queensland
South Australia, ACT and NSW
Northern Territory, Victoria and Tasmania
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, relationship builder and a results-driven professional with a passion for education and sales. Our recruitment process includes a role-play sales task to showcase your communication skills and enthusiasm for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and contact potential customers through outbound calls, emails and other communication channels
Convert inbound leads into customers
Promote Twinkl’s products and services, clearly explaining their benefits to Australian educators
Address customer questions, concerns and objections effectively
Close sales and meet or exceed monthly sales targets
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
Collaborate with the wider sales team to develop and implement strategies for increased sales
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market conditions
Experience & Requirements:
1+ year(s) sales experience, ideally within education or EdTech
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with potential customers
Knowledge of the Australian education system and passion for staying up to date with curriculum developments
Results-oriented mindset with the drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
