Job Title: Aspiring Trainee Teacher – Prepared Cover Lessons

Location: Bradford (BD12), West Yorkshire

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time, Temporary (with the potential to move into teacher training)

Pay: £100 – £140 per day (PAYE), depending on experience

About the Role:

Elevate Supply is working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in the BD12 area of Bradford, recently rated Good by Ofsted. The school is seeking a motivated and aspiring future teacher to join their team, covering lessons across various subjects and gaining valuable classroom experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone considering a teaching career—whether you're a graduate or looking to transition into education. You'll be delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing classrooms, and gradually developing your teaching practice in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering cover lessons using materials and plans provided by the class teacher

• Keeping students focused and engaged in their learning

• Supporting students’ learning and well-being during lessons

• Managing behaviour in line with the school’s policies

• Providing light marking and helping pupils with their understanding where needed

• Observing experienced teachers and participating in training opportunities to build your confidence and skills
