Full-Time Role with Permanent Potential
Location: Bradford – BD2
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 3:30pm
Salary: £13.75 - £14 per day (competitive rates)
Start Date: June 2025
Key Stage: KS2
This is a temporary role with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate. Our school in Bradford is looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Support to work closely with pupils in a KS2 classroom, supporting their individual needs and assisting with behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide SEN support in the classroom, working with pupils both 1:1 and in small groups
Assist in managing behaviour and promoting positive attitudes towards learning
Work closely with the classroom teacher to ensure effective learning support
Help implement strategies for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Adapt approaches as necessary to meet the changing needs of students
Support pupils in achieving their learning goals while fostering a positive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate:
A minimum of 6 months experience working in a school setting, preferably with SEN pupils
Level 2 qualification in Teaching and Learning Support (or equivalent)
Experience with 1:1 support and working with small groups
Strong understanding of positive behaviour management
Ability to adapt to and manage SEN behaviours with a calm and proactive approach
Positive, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic
A commitment to following safeguarding procedures and maintaining a safe learning environment
