Elevate Supply is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a supportive primary school in Weaste, Salford. This school is Ofsted-rated “Good” and is dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for both staff and students.
The role will involve teaching in KS2, focusing on delivering high-quality lessons, supporting student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS2, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of the students.
Support students' academic development, providing tailored learning strategies to ensure progress.
Maintain a positive classroom environment, promoting student well-being and engagement.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of learning across year groups.
Participate in regular meetings with the senior leadership team to track and monitor student progress.
Contribute to the school's wider community and extracurricular activities as required.
Ideal Candidate:
A newly qualified teacher (NQT) with a focus on KS2
A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students to achieve their potential
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with diverse learning needs
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
An ECT who is eager to make a positive impact within the school community
